In preparation for a surgical procedure, your surgeon may request you see your primary care physician or another internist/family practitioner. The purpose of this visit is to evaluate your current health and assess the probability if you will have a severe complication before, during, or after the surgery.

At FCMW we provide preop medical evaluations at a low cost. A medical history and a complete physical with appropriate labs and EKG is taken over the span of about 30 minutes. This is a routine visit with one of our experienced providers. We pride ourselves in getting your surgeon/anesthesiologist the most accurate information needed to decide the safest surgical approach for you.
